We're looking for an Event Operations \& Logistics Coordinator to become a vital part of our operations team. This is a hands\-on role for someone who thrives in a fast\-paced environment, enjoys problem\-solving, and takes pride in ensuring every event is delivered flawlessly.
More than just deliveries, you'll be responsible for coordinating the movement of food, equipment, and event assets while helping to set the stage for exceptional guest experiences.
The Role
As the link between our production kitchen, warehouse, and event venues, you'll work closely with chefs, event managers, and front\-of\-house teams to ensure everything arrives on time, in perfect condition, and ready for service.
No two days are the same. One day you could be delivering equipment to a prestigious London venue; the next, coordinating logistics for a high\-profile corporate event or luxury wedding.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organise catering equipment, furniture, and event materials
- Create all menus and allergen forms for each event
- Deliver to and set up event spaces according to detailed event plans and layouts
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all equipment and supplies meet company standards
- Work closely with kitchen and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely deliveries
- Stock control on consumables and equipment
- Safely transport food, beverages, equipment, and event supplies to venues across London and surrounding areas
- Support venue setup and breakdown before and after events
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and stock control within vehicles and storage areas
- Assist with inventory management and equipment returns
- Represent Easy Gourmet professionally when interacting with venue teams and clients
- Troubleshoot on\-site logistical challenges and provide practical solutions
We're looking for someone who is dependable, organised, and enjoys being part of a team that delivers exceptional events.
You will ideally have:
- A full UK driving licence with a confident driving record
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, logistics, events, or operations
- Strong organisational and time\-management skills
- A proactive, solutions\-focused attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical fitness and willingness to undertake manual handling duties
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and peak event periods
- Food Hygiene certification (preferred but not essential)
