Job Description:

We are currently on the lookout for an Event Catering Manager to run events all over the UK, on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity work with and lead a talented team, including our Founders, at some spectacular events all over the country. This exciting role would suit someone who has experience in catering and would love to work at lots of different catering events UK\-wide.

You will gain experience in managing various\-sized catering events, take the lead on what goes into it behind the scenes, as well as the delivery of the event on the ground. You will assist with the build and break of the event as well as the smooth running of the event.

About us \- Who are we?

Once upon a time, there were three brothers… A rugby player, a ship\-broker and a cabinet\-maker. After a heated debate about the perfect pork sausages, the brothers decided to settle the argument by creating their own porky delights.

Fast forward to 2026, we now have a range of higher\-welfare, Great Taste award winning pork products in leading supermarkets such as Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda, Waitrose, Ocado, Coop, Morrisons and Gousto.

There are two parts to The Jolly Hog Group:

• Jolly Hog Retail \- We have our own brand of award\-winning pork products (such as sausages, bacon and pulled pork) that we sell in leading supermarkets including Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Waitrose, Ocado and Coop.


• Jolly Hog Concessions \- We travel up and down the country in our food units serving great food at some of the biggest events in the country, including music festivals such as Feastival and Iron Maiden, Tough Mudder, Cheltenham Races, as well as our kiosk at Ashton Gate Stadium.

• You will be required to oversee day to day operations of our units at events


• Working closely with the team at Hog HQ to organise the operations for events


• Being involved with the preparation, build and break of events


• Liaising with clients at the event


• Maintain Health \& Safety/Food Hygiene records at all time


• Oversee a small team and delegate tasks accordingly


• Ensure cleanliness of units at all time.

• Outdoor catering experience is a must


• Hospitality experience in a supervisory role


• You will need to love the hospitality lifestyle and enjoy being on the road at events and festivals, sometimes working long hours


• Flexibility as camping / overnight stays may be required for some of the events


• Being a brand ambassador for The Jolly Hog and be comfortable and proud to talk to staff and customers about our products


• A true leader and able to lead large teams


• Driving license is essential (van/trailer driving experience is highly advantageous)


• A passion for delivering quality food and fantastic customer service

Pay: £14\.50\-£15\.00 per hour
