Overview
We are seeking a professional and experienced Evening Hotel Duty Manager with an Alcohol Personal Licence to oversee hotel operations during evening shifts. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hospitality expertise, and the ability to manage guest services efficiently. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team within a reputable hotel environment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth operational flow during evening hours.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all hotel operations during evening shifts, ensuring high standards of service are maintained
- Oversee guest check\-ins and check\-outs, addressing any issues promptly and professionally
- Manage the bar and alcohol service in compliance with licensing laws, ensuring responsible alcohol management
- Lead and support the hotel team, including front desk staff, housekeeping, and bar personnel
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests with tact and efficiency
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Monitor financial transactions, including cash handling and billing procedures
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to maintain cleanliness, safety, and security standards
- Assist in training new staff members and providing ongoing coaching to team members to promote excellent service delivery
- Valid Alcohol Personal Licence is essential for this role
- Proven supervising or managerial experience within the hospitality or hotel industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanour
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guest needs
- Experience in human resources practices such as staff scheduling, training, and performance management is advantageous
- Previous hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates with relevant supervisory experience
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy evening periods
- Flexibility to work evenings as required; availability for shift work is essential
Hours of work \- 4pm until Midnight

Pay: £30,000\.00 per year
