Job summary
Estate Senior Technical Services Manager will be responsible for technical leadership, planning and implementing strategy to ensure all Hard Facilities Management (FM) services are completed to the agreed standard and comply with all regulatory and legislative standards within your teams designated cluster of buildings.
You will ensure that standards are understood internally within Dstl and externally with multiple stakeholders including the FM Providers and DIO and that maintenance is applied consistently across the Dstl estate.
As standards change, you will be responsible for interpreting these and ensuring compliance utilising the appropriate frameworks and agreed processes.

Job description
In this role you will contribute to the defining of strategies for the Dstl estate, as well as reviewing requirements and interacting with the facilities manager and workplace manager community across the Dstl Estate. You will provide Technical Assurance \& Compliance across the group and specifically into the Estates Technical Lead.
You will be required to oversee, influence and build strong working relationships with internal and external customers, including technical services leadership team, the FM Provider and DIO.
You will be crucial to the delivery of hard FM whilst providing technical assistance across the Dstl Estate and satellite sites. You will also provide the Technical Leadership and strategic direction for HVAC and Mechanical systems.

Person specification
You will have extensive experience within in facilities management or related field within experience in a leadership/managerial role. You will have previous experience of onboarding and exiting of an FM contract.
You will also have knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental Protection standards in FM as well as evidence of successfully engaging in contract and supplier relationships in a complex shared service environment.

Qualifications
Essential:
IWFM Level 5 \- Member; RICS FM Pathway or MRICS, with a preference if already held.
Qualification to NVQ Lvel 5 or higher in a construction or infrastructure related discipline.
Mechanical industry qualifications: Trade/HNC/HND
NVQ Level 3 Commercial and Industrial Gas Engineering or equivalent
NVQ Level 3 \- Heating \& Ventilation or equivalent
NVQ Level 3 Refrigeration \& Air Conditioning
ACS Gas COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1, TPCP1A
City \& Guilds 2079 F\-Gas Category 1### Memberships
