Estate Manager
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and solutions\-driven Estate Manager to oversee the hard and soft services, planned preventative maintenance, and day\-to\-day operations of a large, high\-profile mixed\-use development in Tallaght, Dublin 24\.
The estate comprises residential apartments, commercial units, and public carparks, supported by dedicated Residential and Commercial Managers. This role is central to ensuring the complex is safe, compliant, well\-maintained, and operating at an exceptional standard. This is an onsite role.
Buildings Management
Ensure full compliance with all statutory, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement robust preventive maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and extend asset life.
Coordinate repairs, installations, and upgrade works across all areas of the estate.
Manage and supervise external contractors delivering maintenance, cleaning, and specialist services.
Lead compliance\-focused projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Building Maintenance
Ensure the optimal performance and longevity of all building systems and equipment.
Conduct daily inspections across residential communal areas, commercial units, and carparks, escalating issues promptly to relevant teams.
Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and operational readiness throughout the development.
People Management
Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and supervision of on\-site personnel.
Develop work schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to ensure operational targets are achieved.
Foster a culture of pride, accountability, and strong communication across the estate.
Health \& Safety
Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation and internal standards.
Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions where required.
Coordinate emergency procedures and ensure all safety equipment is maintained and accessible.
Manage, document, and report all incidents and accidents in a timely manner.
Public Carpark Management
Oversee the efficient operation of public carparks and maintain a strong working relationship with carpark operators.
Implement policies to maximise space utilisation, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
Address operational issues and customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Reporting \& Documentation
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, compliance checks, and repairs.
Provide clear and timely updates to senior management.
Skills \& Qualifications
Qualified Facilities/Building Manager or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years' experience in facilities management, ideally within a mixed\-use environment.
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and H\&S regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships across residential, commercial, and public stakeholders.
Proven leadership, coordination, and organisational abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to urgent situations.
Experience with budget management and cost control.
Strong problem\-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of sustainability and energy\-management initiatives is an advantage.
Working Conditions
Full\-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional on\-call duties.
On\-site role overseeing all operational aspects of the complex.
