What You'll Do
You will be part of a team responsible for the execution, oversight, and continuous improvement of Managing Directors \& Partners' equity programs and operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and controlled transactional processes while advancing the scalability, transparency, and effectiveness of equity operations.
You will develop deep expertise in executive equity programs and work closely with Executive Compensation and Finance teams (Tax, Treasury, and Global Accounting) to support operational delivery and evolving business needs. The work is highly analytical, detail\-oriented, and visible, requiring strong judgment and the ability to manage complex, interdependent processes.
You will also play a key role in translating equity operations into actionable insights, supporting decision\-making for senior stakeholders. This includes leading complex analyses, identifying trends and risks within equity data, and helping shape process and program improvements that enhance scalability, transparency, and control.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the planning and execution calendar for Executive equity operations, ensuring alignment, capacity, and readiness across peak periods — developing AI\-assisted scheduling and workload analysis to anticipate bottlenecks before they arise.
- Develop and maintain deep expertise in executive equity programs, spanning diverse investment vehicles and multi\-currency structures, translating that knowledge into clear guidance for partners and stakeholders.
- Design and maintain robust control frameworks — proactively identifying risks, strengthening audit readiness, and applying intelligent anomaly detection to keep processes accurate and defensible.
- Oversee equity program analyses, legal documents, and executive wire details with a hands\-on approach — combining rigorous human review with to be designed AI\-assisted data validation to ensure precision at scale.
- Lead preparation and review of equity statements for individual MDPs as part of the annual compensation and equity reporting cycle, harnessing automation to streamline production and sharpen accuracy.
- Manage governance requirements for EC votes and equity share ledgers, partnering with the Executive Compensation paralegal team to ensure accurate, timely, and well\-documented outcomes.
- Navigate complex executive lifecycle events and policy exceptions with sound judgment, working collaboratively across PSG and Finance to reach well\-reasoned, consistent outcomes.
- Champion clear, up\-to\-date process documentation — using intelligent drafting tools to accelerate knowledge capture and keep operational playbooks current as programs evolve.
- Identify and lead end\-to\-end improvements across equity workflows, deploying automation and AI\-powered tools to enhance control quality, reduce manual effort, and build lasting scalability.
- Collaborate across Executive Compensation, Tax, Treasury, and Accounting to shape system requirements and implement shared solutions — acting as a trusted co\-problem\-solver rather than just a process executor.
- Serve as a program\-level owner across multiple equity workstreams, synthesizing data and insights — including through AI\-assisted analysis — to inform senior stakeholders and drive confident decision\-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field; MBA or other professional degree preferred
- 8\+ years of work experience in areas such as financial operations, compensation, or audit/accounting, preferably within a professional services firm or private equity setting.
- Knowledge of equity interest vehicles and familiarity with ownership models and capital structures
- Basic GAAP accounting knowledge preferred
- Comfort working in environments with high judgment, regulatory sensitivity and senior stakeholder impact
- Excellent organizational, project\-management, communication and interpersonal skills; able to communicate confidently and professionally with senior management, particularly those in Finance
- Proven ability to think critically and creativity to solve problems
- Fluency in MS suite, with particularly strong Excel skills (Experience with digital tools such as Alteryx and Tableau preferred); familiarity with use cases for AI tools preferred
- Experience driving improvements through digital and automation tools (e.g., Claude, Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, Microsoft Fabric, etc.)
- Familiarity with Trello, Slack, SalesForce, AdobeSign, PegaSystems (or other workflow management tools) preferred
- High level of discretion and ability to operate with confidential, personal data
- Flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities and ability to stay focused
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams
You will be part of the Executive Compensation function, which brings together finance and HR capabilities to support BCG’s Managing Directors and Partners globally. This team operates within the Global Services organization, alongside teams including Finance, Legal, HR, IT, and Risk.
You will work closely with the Compensation Operations team, as well as Equity Operations and other sub\-functions. The team spans multiple regions and collaborates across functions to deliver consistent, high\-quality support to BCG’s global partnership.
