TM Plastics is seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Administrator to support our busy manufacturing operation. This is a key role within the business, requiring someone with prior experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or technical production environment.
We are specifically looking for candidates who already understand how manufacturing businesses operate — including production flow, technical documentation, and coordination between office and shop floor.
The Role
You will provide day\-to\-day administrative and coordination support across the business, ensuring smooth communication between customers, suppliers, and production teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- General office administration and document control
- Processing customer orders and supplier purchase orders
- Supporting production scheduling and workflow coordination
- Maintaining accurate records, spreadsheets, and job tracking systems
- Liaising with customers regarding orders, lead times, and queries
- Assisting with invoicing, delivery notes, and dispatch paperwork
- Supporting engineering/manufacturing documentation (drawings, job sheets, BOMs where applicable)
- Ensuring accurate and timely communication between departments
- Previous experience in an office administration role within a manufacturing, engineering, plastics, fabrication, CNC, or similar technical environment
- Strong understanding of how production\-based businesses operate
- Confident handling technical information (e.g., part numbers, job sheets, drawings, orders)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Competent in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Banking/Payroll etc
- Experience within plastics manufacturing or engineering supply chains
- Familiarity with production scheduling or job tracking systems
- Experience working closely with shop floor or engineering teams
Approximately 24–30 hours per week (3–4 days)
