Key responsibilities

In this role, you will lead a dedicated automation team. Together, you will develop innovative, high\-quality, and cost\-effective solutions for our customers, directly contributing to the success of our projects in the metal and paper industries. You will also actively promote the professional development of your team and shape processes and workflows with a future\-oriented approach to continuously enhance our capabilities in the process industry.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• The technical and disciplinary leadership of your engineering team, with a focus on functional safety, quality, and on\-time delivery.


• Ensuring that projects along the entire value chain are implemented according to established methods and internal standards and completed in compliance with contractual agreements.


• Initiating and managing continuous improvement measures to optimize processes, guidelines, and workflows, and to increase efficiency.


• Fostering an open and performance\-oriented team culture that supports successful and efficient project implementation.

You will become part of a dynamic, motivated, and high\-performing team that places great value on collaboration, innovation, and personal development.

Qualifications for the role

• You have a degree in automation engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.


• You are proficient in using modern engineering tools and methods in the automation environment and are passionate about the process industry.


• You have at least 5 years of experience in project management and commissioning, and you bring experience in leading project or commissioning teams.


• Experience in leadership responsibility is an advantage.


• You are highly self\-motivated, curious, and innovative, and you impress with your structured, solution\-oriented, and collaborative work style.


• You communicate confidently and persuasively in German and English, both written and spoken; additional language skills are an advantage.
