THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Delivery Manager (EDM) to lead the delivery of complex engineering programmes. This role sits at the heart of programme execution, ensuring that engineering activities are delivered on time, within cost, and to the required quality standards.
You will act as the bridge between engineering teams and programme leadership, taking ownership of planning, coordination, and delivery performance across multidisciplinary teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
O* wn delivery of engineering scope to cost, schedule, performance, and quality targets
D
- efine and manage engineering work packages, including scope, deliverables, milestones, and acceptance criteria
- evelop and maintain integrated engineering plans, including dependencies, critical paths, and cross\-discipline coordination
- ead engineering delivery across the full lifecycle, including requirements, design, integration, verification, validation, and qualification
- oordinate and lead design reviews, technical reviews, and lifecycle gates
- nsure delivery of engineering artefacts, including Engineering Management Plans, review documentation, and lifecycle evidence
- ead integration planning and execution across systems, software, and hardware domains
- onitor delivery performance using engineering metrics and drive corrective actions
- dentify and manage risks, issues, and delivery dependencies
- oordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage engagement with key stakeholders
- rovide clear and concise reporting to programme and senior stakeholders
- upport bid and proposal activities with engineering planning and cost estimation
SSENTIAL SKILLS \& EXPERIENCE:
P* roven experience in engineering delivery, project management, or work package management within complex programmes
P
- revious hands on engineering experience in: electronics, hardware, systems or firmware engineering
- trong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle and integration challenges
- emonstrable experience managing cost, schedule, and delivery performance
- xperience using planning and control tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, EVM tools)
- emonstrated background in leading and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams
- roven capability in integration planning and execution, including managing dependencies and ensuring readiness for integration and verification activities
- trong stakeholder management and communication skills
- xperience working within configuration\-controlled, safety\-critical, or regulated engineering environments (e.g. defence, aerospace, rail, nuclear)
ESIRABLE SKILLS:
F* amiliarity with Model\-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches

- nowledge of Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
- nderstanding of risk management and safety/security considerations
