Enfranchisement Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive – Nottingham (Hybrid)
The Role
Seeking an Enfranchisement Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a strong focus on lease extensions and experience in collective enfranchisement, RTM, or related property matters. You’ll manage a busy, varied caseload while contributing to the wider growth and visibility of the team.
The position is based in Nottingham, with hybrid working and the expectation of attending the office once a week or at least once a fortnight to stay connected with colleagues and maintain collaborative momentum

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll take ownership of your caseload and play an active role in the team’s development through:
- Managing lease extension and enfranchisement matters with commercial awareness and a focus on client outcomes
- Meeting clients virtually or in person, providing clear, strategic advice and transparent cost information
- Drafting and reviewing notices, documents and correspondence with precision and purpose
- Researching legislation and case law, ensuring advice is accurate, risk-managed and commercially aligned
- Negotiating with opponents to secure favourable results while maintaining momentum and cost-efficiency
- Coordinating with surveyors and external professionals, ensuring smooth progression of matters
- Maintaining detailed time records, billing at key stages and conducting monthly file reviews to identify progress points, invoicing opportunities and required client updates
- Preparing Land Registry applications with accuracy and attention to procedural detail
- Experience in lease extensions and ideally collective enfranchisement or RTM
- Strong drafting skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Commercial awareness and confidence in advising clients on strategy, risks and options
- Ability to manage a busy caseload with structure, clarity and efficiency
- A proactive mindset — someone who takes ownership, seeks solutions and contributes to team growth
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfort with case management systems and accurate time recording
