Endoscopy Decontamination Technician
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Decontamination Technician in the Endoscopy Unit.
The post holder will be processing endoscopes and ensuring all equipment is ready for the daily lists working in both Hereford County Hospital and Ross\-on\-Wye Community Hospital Sites.
The role of the Decontamination Technician is to support safe and effective reprocessing of usable medical devices, contributing directly to patient safety and clinical care. Working under the supervision of the Decontamination Technician Supervisors, the post holder will carry out tasks such as cleaning, disassembly, inspection, reassembly, packaging and sterilisation of medical devices.
