Employment Coach - Supported Internships - 8.15am start Monday - Friday

Salary Full Time is £27,000 per annum rising to £27,500 after successful probation.
Full or part time (30 hours) would be preferable, term time working is also an option.
This role will be based at an employer in Theale – you will be required to start work at 8\.15am each morning (Monday – Friday)

Key responsibilities are:
- Coach young people in their supported internship place of work on a one\-to\-one basis.
- Liaise with the workplace employer, education providers and programme manager.
- Provide mentoring and coaching when needed to the intern’s workplace line manager and work colleagues.
- Travel training to support interns to travel to their place of work.
The successful candidate will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Excellent communication skills, energy and enthusiasm.
- Competent to use varied IT systems accurately.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to balance the needs of clients, employers and us!
- Resilient and pragmatic approach to dealing with people and occasionally challenging situations.
- Locally based with a full UK driving licence and daily access to a car is essential.
- A successful enhanced DBS would be required (paid for by us).
- Knowledge of disability or HR procedures is beneficial but not essential as training is provided.
- Most importantly a sense of humour, someone who share our values and wants to make a real difference to someone’s life.
- 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) pro rata for part\-time.
