Responsibilities Employment & Health Partnerships Manager
- Day-to-day line management responsibility for the team of Work & Health Coaches.
- • Liaising with businesses, community organisations, education and learning providers to ensure quality referral pathways into and out of the Lewisham Works programme are available to residents. This includes oversight of Multi-Disciplinary Teams between Work & Health Coaches and system partner organisations.
- Developing and implementing evaluation and impact measures to meet national and local grant contract requirements and ensure reflective and improving practice.
- Effectively using programme management tools such as planning, risk assessment and reporting, budget and resource management, procurement, communication, issues logging and progress reporting.
- Oversee the overall caseload and operational delivery of support by the team of Work & Health Coaches to residents.
- Managing partnership activities, ensuring the internal delivery team works effectively with other commissioned programmes and local support.
- • Ensuring the profile of the Lewisham Works service remains high with residents and partners to ensure a consistent flow of appropriate referrals to the programme.
- Contributing to reports and presentations to committees, political members and senior officers.
- Managing delegated budgets and resources, managing risks, and ensuring programmes are delivered on time and within budget. This includes monitoring day-to-day spend and producing compliant reporting for the external funder.
- • Providing support and developmental opportunities to less experienced or knowledgeable colleagues.
- • Contributing to organisational development, helping to sustain a learning culture, and in multiagency liaison processes where required.
- • Establishing and maintaining contact and good working relationships with officers and senior staff within the Council and partnerships networks working pro-actively together and with other stakeholders in relation to Lewisham Works.
- • Contributing to a range of media communications including consulting where necessary.
- Understanding of issues faced by those with physical or mental health needs in staying in work or returning to the workplace following a period of sickness.
- Advanced knowledge of mainstream Microsoft computing applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Data Protection (GDPR) and safeguarding requirements
- Understanding of structured employment support or coaching frameworks and willingness to work within established delivery models.
- Understanding of working for or with NHS organisations with a focus on Primary Care.
- Relevant professional qualification in a relevant field, and excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
- Experience working with or alongside NHS organisations in particular, primary care.
- Knowledge and experience in delivering and monitoring public sector grant funded services
- Experience working with or alongside a local authority employment support team including delivery and monitoring of public sector grant-funded services, or similar programmes in a relevant field
- Creative, flexible and positive approach to dealing with changing needs of internal and external stakeholders and partnership requirements understanding of the need for continuous improvement, and an ability to innovate
- Project management experience including line management and budget-holding duties. .
