Mandarin speakingAccounts Assistant/Officer - What You'll be Doing:

  • Prepare financial analysis, management information, and financial forecasts to support business decision-making;

  • Assist with the budget preparation and ongoing financial planning, including periodic forecast and variance analysis;

  • Contribute to performance management, including monitoring of key performance indicators against budget and forecast;

  • Assist with asset and liability management;

  • Assist with bank capital management, including capital monitoring, reporting, and planning activities.

  • Share Head Officing reporting duties.

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on financial matters.

  • Financial accounting duties;

  • Regulatory reporting;

  • Tax return and compliance;

  • Expense and procurement management;

  • Other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Mandarin speakingAccounts Assistant/Officer - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
  • Solid practical experience in accounting/auditing/financial management, ideally within the banking industry;

  • A Bachelor’s degree or above, ideally with a finance/accounting/economics/statistics background;

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin both in verbal and writing.

  • High proficiency in Excel is required. Experience in data processing, data analysis or SQL skills is preferred.

  • Candidates holding accounting or financial related qualifications will be preferred;

  • Be able to focus on execution and delivery, with strong attention to details in a fast-pace working environment
