Location: Northampton, with flexible working
Salary: £35,000 \- £40,000 pro rata
6 month fixed term contract with immediate start

St Andrew’s is a charity specialising in complex mental health. Its mission is to help people with complex mental health needs transform their lives.
With its history dating back nearly two centuries, St Andrew’s today is undergoing significant change to deliver on its mission for years to come. Purpose of Role:To provide employee relations (ER) support and guidance across the Northampton Hospital whilst ensuring managers are coached through ER issues. To advise on a best practice approach to resolve ER matter, whilst maintaining a pragmatic focus in line with the Charity’s values. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to managers on ER activities across the Northampton Hospital ensuring cases are dealt with in an effective and timely manner.
- Work with managers to coach and support with regards to a broad range of ER issues to develop their skills and knowledge
- Understand and monitor absence levels in the designated area looking at both long and short term sick absence and work with managers to reduce absence levels.
- To assist the HR Business Partner in development and implementation of the Charity’s Human Resources Policies and Procedures.
- To work collaboratively as part of a wider HR team, to share knowledge and support development within the team
