We have an exciting opportunity for a Emergency Nurse Practitioner to join our team based at the St Georges Urgent Treatment Centre, working variable hours across a 7 day rota. This is a pivotal clinical role within our urgent treatment centre.
What the Role Offers
We are seeking an experienced emergency nurse practitioner to join our friendly well\-established team. This role provides the opportunity to work autonomously as an independent healthcare practitioner within a minor injuries unit. Delivering a high quality of care across a range of agreed age groups and presenting conditions.
You will utilise your advanced clinical skills undertaking patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, onwards referrals where appropriate and safe discharge. Managing both minor illnesses and undifferentiated injuries.
You will also contribute to creating a positive working environment for staff, ensuring that all available resources are used effectively to meet key performance indicators and maintain CQC standards.
Pay Rates
Rates vary depending on the time of day worked:
- In Hours: £22\.77 up to £24\.03 per hour depending on experience
- Out of Hours: £29\.60 up to £31\.24 per hour depending on experience

St George's Urgent Treatment Centre, Saint Georges Road, Leeds, LS10 4UZ
Hours \& Working Pattern
St Georges Urgent Treatment centre is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, between the hours of 08:00 to 23:00
*Please note: our rota operates on a 4\-week rolling basis to meet service demand*
About You
We are looking for a confident, experienced clinician who can make effective decisions in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
You will have:
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Excellent communication and decision‑making abilities
- Experience of working independently in a range of healthcare settings
- A clear understanding of patient safety, quality standards and CQC compliance
- A values‑led approach aligned to kindness, respect, fairness, honesty and integrity
