Emergency Frailty Unit (EFU) Co-Ordinator
Would you like a role where you can make a difference? The Care of the Elderly (CotE) Directorate is looking for a forward thinking, friendly, caring and motivated individual who enjoys a challenge to join the CotE team and provide an excellent service to our patients.
The EFU Co\-ordinator will oversee the EFU assessment area, ensuring the smooth delivery of our Grace \- rapid access clinics and delivery of prompt in\-patient review. The role will involve booking Grace clinics, managing/monitoring waiting lists, answering telephone queries and working in accordance the Welsh Government RTT guidelines. The postholder will also co\-ordinate in\-patient referrals to the CotE service, in doing so you will be working closely with the medical and nursing teams.
This role requires a flexible and reliable individual, with the ability to travel across all Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) sites as required.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in this varied role. You will have excellent communication skills especially working with the general public, as well as being dedicated to providing an efficient and effective service. You will be working closely with members of the CotE team in order to ensure patients are seen in a timely manner.
We are looking for someone who is IT literate, able to meet deadlines and also has excellent attention to detail. Knowledge of the WPAS, CWS and Oracle systems plus RTT guidelines would be advantageous. You must be methodical and organised in your approach and thrive on the opportunity to make a genuine difference.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
