Emergency Dentist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Dentist to provide urgent dental care services. We are a privatised emergency dental service that provide some routine care. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering immediate treatment to patients experiencing dental emergencies, ensuring swift relief and stabilisation of acute dental conditions. This role offers an opportunity to utilise advanced dental skills and contribute significantly to patient well\-being during critical moments.

Duties

• Assess and diagnose patients presenting with dental emergencies, including trauma, severe pain, or infections


• Provide urgent treatment such as extractions, root canals, or temporary restorations


• Apply comprehensive knowledge of anatomy to identify and treat complex dental issues effectively


• Use medical imaging techniques to accurately diagnose conditions and plan appropriate interventions


• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards


• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care


• Educate patients on post\-treatment care and preventive measures to avoid future emergencies

• Fully qualified Dentist with valid registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) or relevant regulatory body


• Proven experience in emergency dental treatments or urgent care settings is highly desirable


• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and pathology


• Experience with medical imaging modalities relevant to dentistry, such as intraoral X\-rays or CBCT scans


• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure


• Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills to reassure distressed patients
