Do you want to contribute to the development of embedded systems for the aerospace sector? We are looking for an Embedded Linux Engineer passionate about Yocto Linux, ARM, and high\-reliability software for innovative technological challenges.

Support the development, integration, and validation of an embedded software platform based on Yocto Linux for ARM microprocessor systems, ensuring high levels of reliability, security, and compliance with aeronautical standards.

In particular, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and customizing Yocto Linux distributions for ARM embedded platforms


• Configuring and integrating BSP, Linux kernel, drivers, system services, and U\-Boot bootloader


• Implementing Secure Boot mechanisms, Mandatory Access Control, and TPM (Trusted Platform Module) integration


• Supporting the integration and testing of CANBus, CANopen, and ARINC 429 protocols


• Performing debugging, integration, verification, and software validation activities on target hardware


• Preparing and updating technical, design, and test documentation


• Ensuring compliance with aeronautical software development processes and DO\-178C requirements


• Possibility of travel to France

• Master's degree in Computer, Electronic, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent disciplines.


• Italian C2, English B2


• Extensive experience with embedded systems based on ARM microprocessors


• Excellent knowledge and proven experience in configuring and customizing Yocto Linux


• Experience with U\-Boot, boot system management, and Secure Boot implementation


• Knowledge of embedded security technologies, including Mandatory Access Control and TPM


• Experience in developing embedded near real\-time software.


• Knowledge of CANBus/CANopen and ARINC 429 protocols


• Familiarity with aviation software development standards, particularly DO\-178C


• Knowledge of Software Verification \& Validation methodologies for safety\-critical and high\-reliability systems

The position offers an open\-ended employment contract, and the basic gross annual salary (RAL) offered will not be less than €40,000, in line with the provisions of the CCNL Commercio – Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi.

TMC is committed to offering a competitive compensation package and, at the end of the selection process, based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, may propose a final RAL higher than the level indicated above.

In line with our business model, the final compensation package also includes a direct project profit\-sharing component, an individual budget of €4,000 net annually for skills development, and annual welfare credit. Further details will be provided during the selection process, in compliance with the company policies in force.
