Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Email Automation Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of automated email marketing campaigns and communication workflows. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in system architecture, scripting, and cloud technologies to create seamless, scalable email solutions that enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain sophisticated email automation workflows using industry\-standard tools and programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Shell Scripting.


• Design scalable system architectures that integrate with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability and performance.


• Manage database systems including SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server) and NoSQL solutions to support dynamic email content personalization and data tracking.


• Optimize email delivery through load balancing, VPN configurations, firewall management, and DNS settings to maximize deliverability rates.


• Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to integrate email systems with Salesforce, Pegasystems, web services (REST/SOAP), and other enterprise applications.


• Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git to streamline updates and ensure system reliability.


• Monitor system health using virtualization technologies such as VMware, ESXi, Kubernetes, and Docker; troubleshoot issues related to system architecture or performance bottlenecks.


• Ensure information security standards are met by configuring firewalls, VPNs, DHCP servers, and adhering to best practices in cybersecurity.


• Conduct debugging sessions for complex scripts or codebases in languages like C\+\+, C\#, Ruby on Rails, or Java; document technical procedures for ongoing maintenance.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of computer networking principles including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, load balancing, firewalls, and system security protocols.


• Proficiency with cloud services such as AWS and Azure for deploying scalable email automation solutions.


• Strong experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) as well as NoSQL databases for data management.


• Programming expertise in Python, JavaScript, Bash (Unix shell), C\+\+, C\#, Ruby on Rails, VBA,.NET frameworks; familiarity with XML and web services (REST/SOAP).


• Hands\-on experience with virtualization platforms like VMware ESXi; container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.


• Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools; version control with Git.


• Understanding of system design principles including microservices architecture and service\-oriented architecture (SOA).


• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and UNIX/Linux environments; experience with system administration tasks.


• Ability to implement security measures including firewalls, VPNs, encryption protocols; understanding of information security standards.


• Experience working within SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) frameworks; debugging complex issues across multiple systems.
