Electrician (ELEC) | Container Vessel

We are looking for an experienced Electrician (ELEC) to work on a container vessel trading worldwide. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical and electronic systems onboard.

• Key responsibilities:


• + Operate, maintain and repair electrical power generation and distribution systems

+ Inspect, troubleshoot and repair electrical motors, starters, switchboards and panels
+ Maintain and test automation, alarm and monitoring systems
+ Carry out preventive maintenance as per PMS and keep proper records
+ Support engine room and deck teams with electrical and electronic work when required
+ Ensure safe working practices and compliance with vessel and company procedures

• Requirements:


• + Previous seagoing experience as Electrician (ELEC), preferably on container vessels

+ Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for sea service
+ Located in Europe
+ Good knowledge of marine electrical and automation systems
+ Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
+ Good English communication skills
