About Profix SW Ltd
Profix SW Ltd is a growing facilities, property maintenance and building services company providing planned, reactive and emergency maintenance services to commercial, retail, residential and industrial clients.
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Biased Multi\-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team.
This is not simply a standard maintenance engineer position. As part of the next stage of our company’s expansion, Profix is developing and expanding its electrical contracting division, allowing us to deliver an increasing amount of electrical installation, maintenance, testing and project work directly in\-house.
We are therefore looking for someone who can initially join us as an experienced electrically biased engineer, but who has the capability, experience and ambition to progress into a predominantly Electrical Supervisor position as the electrical division develops.
Career Progression – Electrical Supervisor
A major part of this position is the opportunity to help develop the electrical side of the business.
The successful candidate will initially undertake a mixture of electrical and multi\-skilled maintenance work while becoming familiar with our clients, systems and operating procedures.
As our electrical contracting workload expands, we envisage this position progressing towards Electrical Supervisor, with increased responsibility for the delivery and management of electrical works.
Future responsibilities are expected to include:

- Helping establish procedures and standards for the expanding electrical division
- Liaising with clients regarding electrical works and projects

You will be responsible for attending both planned and reactive maintenance jobs across our client portfolio.
The position is electrically biased, so electrical diagnostics, fault finding and repair will form a significant part of your workload. However, as a multi\-skilled maintenance engineer, you will also be expected to assist with general property maintenance where required.
Typical duties will include:
- Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
- Lighting repairs, replacements and upgrades
- Socket, switch and accessory replacements
- Electrical installation and alteration works
- Distribution board fault finding
- RCBO/RCD fault investigation
- Emergency lighting repairs and maintenance
- Testing and investigation of electrical faults
- Minor electrical installation works
- Fire alarm and associated system investigation
- Planned electrical maintenance
- General reactive property maintenance
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Door, lock and ironmongery repairs
- Carpentry and minor building works
- Making good following repairs
- Assisting with planned maintenance programmes
- Attending emergency and out\-of\-hours call\-outs
- Completing clear digital job reports and photographic evidence
- Identifying additional works and providing accurate information for quotations
