Electrical Testing Engineer

LRG Group are starting a brand\-new Electrical Testing contract in Lincoln and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for 4 experienced Electrical Testing Engineers to join our team, carrying out EICRs across approximately 3,500 properties.

For the right candidates, this contract offers the opportunity for up to 5 years of continuous work.

You will report directly to the LRG Group Contracts Manager on a daily basis and will be provided with a consistent programme of work.

The Role

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out EICR testing within domestic properties


• Completing electrical certification accurately


• Undertaking basic remedial works where required


• Reporting any further remedial works identified


• Working to LRG Group and client standards


• Communicating with the Contracts Manager and office team

All materials required for remedial works will be provided by LRG Group.

Engineers will be trained to use EasyCert software for completing and submitting certification.

Requirements

Candidates must have:

• Level 3 Electrical Qualification


• Electrical testing experience


• Own electrical testing equipment


• Own transport


• Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload

The following will be also be required:

• 2391 Inspection \& Testing


• Asbestos Awareness


• DBS Check

Where required, LRG Group will provide the Asbestos Awareness, Working at Heights and Manual Handling online courses free of charge to successful candidates.
