Electrical Supervisor - Contract Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Electrical Supervisor to join a long-term contract delivering maintenance and compliance services across multiple government sites.This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled electrical professional with strong supervisory experience to work on a mobile basis, supporting critical infrastructure and ensuring high standards of delivery.
Key Job Details

• Rate: £400 - £450 per day (Umbrella)


• Contract Length: 6 months initial (ongoing potential)


• Start Date: Immediate


• Location: Mobile (MOJ & Home Office sites) - Cambridge or Kent


• Working Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Senior Electrical Supervisor Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works


• Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs on electrical systems and plant


• Supervise and support electrical teams across multiple sites


• Install and commission electrical plant and equipment


• Ensure all works meet industry standards and compliance requirements


• Maintain asset records and provide condition updates


• Liaise with engineering teams to ensure efficient service delivery


• Identify additional works and prepare cost estimates

Compliance & Supervisory Duties

• Perform quality audits (QS duties) on both in-house and subcontractor works


• Ensure all electrical installations comply with current regulations

Key Requirements

To be considered for this Senior Electrical Supervisor role, you must have:

• ECS Gold Card (Essential)


• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)


• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)


• AM1 & AM2 qualifications


• 2391 Test & Inspection certification


• 5-10+ years' electrical experience

Desirable Qualifications

• NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor (QS) experience


• Authorised Person (Low Voltage)
