As our project portfolio continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team and oversee the successful delivery of electrical projects from inception to handover.
The Role
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.You will work closely with clients, contractors, suppliers, and site teams to coordinate project activities, resolve challenges, and maintain the highest standards of workmanship and professionalism throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Manage electrical projects from pre\-construction through completion and final handover
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Coordinate labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are achieved
- Identify and resolve project risks, delays, and technical challenges
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and within budget
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project delivery
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and suppliers
- Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates
- Ensure client requirements are understood and successfully implemented
- Support the development of long\-term client relationships through excellent service
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Conduct site visits and oversee installation progress
- Ensure all works comply with relevant regulations, standards, and health and safety requirements
- Coordinate procurement and material schedules
- Manage project documentation, reporting, and compliance records
- Lead and support site teams, subcontractors, and engineers
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability
- Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project
- Contribute to improving project delivery processes and operational efficiency
- Support the continued growth and reputation of Eightcube Solutions
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Contracts Manager, or similar role
- Strong understanding of electrical installations and construction project delivery
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications
- Excellent organisational, planning, and problem\-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Experience managing project budgets, programmes, and subcontractors
- Knowledge of UK electrical regulations and industry standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
- Full UK driving licence preferred
