As an Electrical Project Engineer, youll help deliver high\-voltage renewable energy projects from planning through to completion, with support from experienced Senior Project Engineers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the management of HV renewable energy projects valued between £1m and £30m
- Coordinating project resources to help achieve project objectives and meet customer expectations
- Maintaining strong technical standards across projects from 33kV to 400kV
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with health and safety requirements and Powersystems Priority No.1 focus on Health, Safety and Wellbeing
- Working closely with internal departments to ensure design and installation requirements are properly considered and delivered
- Liaising with key external stakeholders, including DNOs, TSOs, suppliers and client contractors
- 23 years experience within HV or electrical engineering environments
- Strong technical understanding, communication skills and commercial awareness
- Experience supporting or managing projects within a comparable industry
- An Electrical Engineering degree or HND, ideally with knowledge of HV systems
- A full UK driving licence
- The right to work in the UK
- Chartered status, or working towards IEng/CEng through the IET
