Electrical Maintenance Technician (Full Time)
\*Job Summary\*
Based on our customer site at Airbus (Broughton, North Wales, UK), the Electrical Maintenance Technician is an important part of the Reel UK team, our main stream activity being the service of electrical and automated equipment for the transport of the wings throughout the production site, indoor and outdoor.
We are now seeking a highly\-skilled and self\-motivated electrical engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will develop, and test electrical equipment and systems, ensuring they are installed and functioning according to specifications and standards.
To support you in your role, this position includes a fully\-maintained company van and a fuel card covering all business mileage. You will have everything you need from day one to hit the ground running, with all running costs, servicing, and fuel completely taken care of by the business.
Responsibilities
Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time.
Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance on various assets.
Define customer needs and requirements.
Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards.
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes.
Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
Requirements:
18th Edition qualification required
2391 Initial \& Periodic Inspection/Testing or 2392 Fundamental Inspection \& Testing
Level III or Level II Diploma Electrical Installation
Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer
Can work on various voltages from 24vdc to 415vac
A knowledge and understands of control system
Hands\-on experience in hardware and software
Knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
Problem\-solving abilities
Attention to detail and good communication skills
Schedule:
- 8 hour (5\-Day) shift / 10 hour (4\-Night) shift
- \[night shift to reduce to 1 in 4 during 2026]
- Monday to Friday with Overtime available
- Night shift Rota with 30% Night shift Premium when on rota
- Weekend availability – some On Call when required
- Electrical Engineering: 3 years (required)
- Control Systems: 2 years (required)
Pay: £38,000\.00\-£45,000\.00 per year
