Signage Installation Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Signage Installation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of signage across multiple locations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilise technical skills, and contribute to the visual branding of our clients. The ideal applicant will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem\-solving abilities, and experience in installation or engineering roles related to signage or similar fields.

Responsibilities

• Install a wide range of signage including illuminated, non\-illuminated, digital, and architectural signs in accordance with specifications and safety standards.


• Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and prepare detailed plans.


• Operate specialised tools and equipment safely during installation processes.


• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.


• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing signage to ensure optimal performance.


• Troubleshoot technical issues during installation or maintenance work and implement effective solutions.


• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations throughout all stages of work.


• Document installation procedures and complete relevant reports accurately.

• Proven experience in signage installation, or a related technical field is preferred.


• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and digital signage technology is advantageous.


• Proficiency in operating power tools, MEWPS, scaffolding, and other relevant equipment.


• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.


• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions safely.


• Valid driver’s licence is desirable; willingness to travel between sites as required.
