G\-Tek Lighting Services is looking for an Electrical Field Service Engineer to join our national engineering team.
This is not a conventional electrical installation role.
You will attend commercial sites on behalf of lighting manufacturers, diagnosing faults, replacing faulty components, carrying out remedial works and completing site reports.
The role would suit someone with practical electrical experience who enjoys fault\-finding, varied work and working independently.
What you’ll do
- Diagnose lighting and electrical faults
- Replace faulty lighting components
- Carry out remedial and after\-sales works
- Complete lighting surveys and site reports
- Liaise with clients and site personnel
- Work independently with support from our service team
- Practical electrical experience
- Good fault\-finding and problem\-solving ability
- Valid ECS or CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
- Confidence working independently on commercial sites
- Good communication / IT skills
- Flexible approach to field\-based work and travel
PASMA and IPAF would be beneficial but are not essential.
Previous lighting\-industry experience is not essential. Specialist product and lighting training will be provided.
