Sandyford Abattoir in Paisley are looking for an Electrical Engineer.

John Scott Meat delivers meat to quality butchers, wholesalers, and caterers throughout Scotland and the South East of England. Sandyford Abattoir being part of the business on site allows John Scott Meat to have complete control of its product from farm to customer.

We are now looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our existing team to assist in the day to day running and maintenance of our production facility.

Job summary

Some of the tasks include:

· Managing the electrical works for the site and equipment;

· Responsible for the preventative electrical programme and manage the schedule;

· Complete work orders timeously whilst maintaining regulations and compliance;

· Develop a fundamental understanding of all electrical equipment on site;

· Work closely with the Abattoir Manager and Technical Manager regarding system procedures;

· Follow Health and Safety Rules and Regulations at all time.

Your profile

The ideal candidate will have:

· A high level of competency within electrical/electrical engineering work;

· A minimum of 3 year qualified work experience;

· Experience with machines, process equipment, controls, automation and maintenance.

Schedule

40 hours per week

Monday to Friday from 06\.30 – 15\.00

Permanent full time position.

Salary

Dependent on experience.
