Prime Workforce is recruiting an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a well\-established food manufacturing business in London.
This is a hands\-on engineering role focused on maintaining, servicing and supporting electrical equipment across a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in keeping equipment operating safely and reliably while supporting high standards of production, safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs efficiently
- Service and maintain electrical systems, machinery and associated equipment
- Support preventative maintenance activities to minimise equipment downtime
- Ensure all work complies with electrical safety standards and site procedures
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records where required
- Work closely with the wider engineering and production teams
- Support continuous improvement of equipment reliability and site performance
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality within a food manufacturing environment
- Electrical Engineering qualification, such as City \& Guilds, NVQ or equivalent
- 18th Edition qualification – mandatory
- Practical experience maintaining and repairing electrical equipment
- Strong electrical fault\-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good understanding of electrical health and safety requirements
- Ability to work effectively within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Reliable, practical and able to work independently when required
- Must have the right to work in the UK
Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or another fast\-paced production environment would be advantageous.
