Electrical Design & Integration Autonomous Vehicle Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Electrical and Electronics Design Engineer to

join our hardware development team on\-site, contributing to the design, integration,

and testing of electrical and electronic systems for autonomous passenger vehicles

developed for high\-speed applications.

Requirements

Must\-Haves* Electrical schematics, design and reading of electrical diagrams, with a focus on automotive wiring harnesses and connectors.

• Electrical dimensioning and integration, sizing and integrating electrical components within complex systems.


• Automation sensors, working knowledge of LiDAR, radar, camera\-based perception systems and GPS.


• PCB design, basic to intermediate experience designing printed circuit boards.


• CAD design, familiarity with CAD tools for 3D design (nice to have: experience with 3D printing).


• Software programming, ability to program ECUs and electronic components. (nice to have: Matlab/Simulink, Python)


• Embedded controllers, foundational understanding of embedded systems and microcontroller.


• Driving license valid in the EU


• Startup mentality: ownership, speed, hands\-on, and high standards


• Fluent English (Dutch is a plus)


• Applicants must already have the right to work in the EU. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice\-to\-Haves* Previous experience or exposure to automotive or motorsport projects (academic teams, internships or personal projects).

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and clean integration


• A genuine passion for high\-performance autonomous vehicle technology.

As part of a small, fast\-growing team, this role requires strong adaptability and the ability to autonomously manage and complete diverse tasks taking ownership across different areas of the project as needs evolve.
