Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and developing electrical systems and components for a variety of projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting\-edge system design, utilise advanced CAD and simulation tools, and contribute to the development of sophisticated electrical solutions. Candidates should possess strong technical expertise in electrical engineering principles, system integration, and mechanical knowledge, with experience in both hardware and firmware development.

Computer skills and experience in the relevant software ( Autocad , Amtech , etc ) is a must

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed electrical schematics and circuit diagrams using AutoCAD

  • Design and analyse electrical systems incorporating the latest BS and electrical regulations

  • Perform root cause analysis on electrical issues and troubleshoot complex problems using debugging techniques.

  • Create simulations and models with Amtech validate system performance.

  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical components within mechanical assemblies.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards for electrical safety, reliability, and quality assurance.

  • Support system design reviews, documentation updates, and technical reports.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience with electrical system design including schematics creation and circuit layout.

  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics for complex electrical systems.

  • Excellent problem\-solving skills coupled with strong organisational abilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an innovative Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to diverse projects within a dynamic environment that values technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Pay: £29,197\.70\-£62,703\.50 per year
