Job Description
You will support commissioning activities across critical electrical systems on a major nuclear project.
The role combines testing, verification and operational readiness activities within a highly regulated environment.
- Execute commissioning activities across LV electrical distribution and power systems
️Apply nuclear, electrical and industrial safety requirements during commissioning activities
Manage commissioning documentation, configuration control and technical records accurately
Analyse test results and resolve technical deviations with stakeholders
- ️Support commissioning hold points and nuclear safety compliance requirements
️Conduct system walkdowns, punch\-list closure and readiness verification activities
Capture operational experience feedback to support continuous programme improvement
Support development of junior engineers and commissioning technicians onsite Qualifications
Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- Strong commissioning experience within highly regulated industrial environments
️Understanding of electrical isolation, switching procedures and safety rules
Knowledge of Electricity at Work Regulations and BS 7671 standards
️Experience working within large\-scale infrastructure or construction projects
Ability to work confidently within dynamic and high\-security environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multidisciplinary teams
Strong problem\-solving abilities with proactive and collaborative working approach
IOSH accreditation and Behavioural Safety Programme certification advantageous Additional Information
