EICR Testing Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail\-oriented EICR Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) to ensure electrical systems meet safety standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will help maintain the safety, reliability, and efficiency of electrical installations across various sites. Duties

• Perform comprehensive EICR testing and inspections on electrical installations, including wiring, panels, and accessories.


• Identify potential electrical hazards, faults, or non\-compliance issues and document findings accurately.


• Generate detailed reports highlighting inspection results, recommendations for repairs or upgrades, and compliance status.


• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and maintenance teams to schedule inspections and discuss technical findings.


• Maintain accurate records of all inspections, test results, and follow\-up actions in compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical testing, maintenance, or inspection roles with a strong understanding of electrical systems.


• Knowledge of EICR standards, regulations, and best practices for electrical safety assessments.


• Ability to operate testing equipment efficiently and interpret technical data accurately.


• Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to clients and team members.


• Valid driving license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel between sites regularly.


• Experience with CCTV systems, IT infrastructure, or related technology is a plus.


• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
