Ecommerce & PPC Manager
About the Role
Adexa Direct is seeking an experienced Ecommerce \& PPC Manager to take ownership of our online sales performance and digital marketing activities. This hybrid role is based in London and offers a combination of office and remote working.
We are looking for a commercially minded, analytical, and proactive individual who can work independently, analyse data effectively, and make informed decisions without constant supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring website performance, managing PPC campaigns, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing improvements that drive revenue and profitability.
This is a hands\-on role for someone who takes initiative, regularly reviews performance data, identifies issues and opportunities, and acts on them independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Shopping, and other relevant advertising platforms.
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics including ROAS, CPA, conversion rates, revenue, and profitability.
- Analyse website traffic, customer behaviour, sales performance, and marketing data to identify growth opportunities.
- Regularly review and audit the website to identify issues affecting user experience, sales performance, SEO, and conversions.
- Optimise product listings, category pages, landing pages, promotions, and merchandising strategies.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing strategies, and market trends.
- Produce regular performance reports with clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Manage advertising budgets effectively and maximise return on investment.
- Work closely with management to develop and execute ecommerce growth strategies.
- Identify operational, technical, and marketing issues and take ownership of resolving them.
- Ensure the website is regularly reviewed, maintained, and continuously improved to maximise performance and sales.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in ecommerce and PPC management.
- Proven experience managing Google Ads, Google Shopping, and paid search campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center, and ecommerce reporting tools.
- Demonstrated track record of increasing online sales and improving advertising performance.
- Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to make data\-driven decisions.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities without constant supervision.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast\-paced ecommerce environment.
- Experience with the OpenCart ecommerce platform is highly desirable.
- Understanding of SEO, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), and ecommerce best practices.
- Experience managing large product catalogues and product feeds.
- Familiarity with marketplace integrations and feed management tools.
