Summary
At Pendle Primary Academy, we pride ourselves on being an inclusive school in which all children are enabled to thrive and succeed regardless of need, which is why we are excited to be able to offer an opportunity for the right candidate to join our team as an Early Years Teaching Assistant (TA2a) to support teachers in ensuring that children are offered the best possible education.
Working alongside our existing Early Years team, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting teachers in delivering the Early Years curriculum to all children.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate and dynamic practitioner with previous experience of supporting children in primary settings. With a focus on team work and sharing good practice, they will be committed to their own professional development in order to continuously improve the educational offer for children at Pendle Primary Academy.
Specific duties will include supporting classroom teachers to deliver the Early Years curriculum to all children in Reception, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
