Health Care Assistant/Support Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant/support worker to join our team. Duties

• Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.


• Support individuals with mobility and physical activities as required.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring nutritional needs are met.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions.


• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement and follow care plans effectively.


• Engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well\-being.


• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.


• Drive to various locations as needed for home care assignments.

• Proficient in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication with residents and team members.


• Strong communication skills to build rapport with residents and their families.


• Basic IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software.


• Experience or knowledge of working in a care home or home care setting is advantageous.


• Experience working with individuals with physical health conditions and providing home care services is essential for this role.


• Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately.
