We are seeking two exceptional, dedicated teachers who are calm, resilient, reflective, and able to bring creativity and playfulness to their practice. Both classes consist of pupils with complex learning needs who thrive in highly engaging, sensory-rich learning environments.

One class is a Year 2 cohort working within the Birth to 3 years developmental range, while the other is a Year 3 class working broadly within the 3 to 4 years developmental range. Pupils learn best through hands-on, meaningful experiences that incorporate sensory exploration, play, and highly motivating activities. They have wonderful personalities, a fantastic sense of humour, and bring a great deal of character and individuality to the classroom.

You will have a strong understanding of supporting pupils with a range of communication, sensory, and regulation needs. They will be skilled at building positive relationships, recognising and responding to individual needs, and maintaining high levels of engagement throughout the school day.

These are lively, dynamic classrooms that require teachers who are proactive, adaptable, and highly organised. The role involves supporting pupils to develop independence in self-care and daily life skills, whilst continually adapting teaching approaches in response to pupils’ needs, interests, and levels of regulation. The ability to remain positive, flexible, and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment is essential.
