E-Commerce Intern
E\-commerce Intern
West London · Office\-based
Skindays.com
Small team. Real work. Real responsibility.
We are a fast\-growing e\-commerce retail platform at the intersection of skincare, wellness, curation, and technology. We are looking for one exceptional person to join our West London team and contribute from day one.
The E\-Commerce Intern will sit at the heart of how Skindays operates, touching everything from product and trading to marketing, operations, and customer experience. You will work across the full e\-commerce stack: managing the catalogue, supporting campaigns, analysing on\-site performance, and helping run the day\-to\-day. This is a generalist role by design. You will get broad exposure to how a modern e\-commerce business actually works, and you will be expected to take real ownership from the start.
What you'll actually do
You will work closely with the Skindays team to support the day\-to\-day running of
the website while contributing to projects that enhance our digital performance and
community experience.
- Own the product catalogue: Keep listings sharp, accurate, and commercially optimised across pricing, copy, imagery, and sequencing.
- Drive commercial performance: Monitor conversion, sales, and on\-site behaviour. Identify what is working and what is not, then act on it.
- Support marketing campaigns: Assist with email marketing, social, and on\-site promotions across briefing, content, execution, and reporting.
- Run on\-site merchandising: Support end\-to\-end execution of promotional moments and editorial campaigns from brief to launch.
- Manage stock and operations: Track inventory, flag risks, and support order fulfilment. You will learn how operational discipline creates or destroys margin.
- Research markets and competitors: Develop fluency in the competitive landscape. Where is the market going and who is winning?
- Be the voice of the customer: Handle customer enquiries and help close the loop between what customers say and what we build.
- Support events and activations: Get involved in pop\-ups and brand moments across logistics, customer experience, and on\-the\-ground execution.
We care about your output and how you think far more than your job title history. The following profile tends to thrive here.
- Currently completing or recently graduated from a bachelor's or master's degree, ideally in e\-commerce, marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
- Passionate about skincare, beauty, wellness, and e\-commerce.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Active on Instagram and/or TikTok, whether professionally or personally, you understand what performs and why.
- Comfortable working with digital platforms and learning new tools quickly
- Analytical, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast\-paced start\-up environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A paid internship (6 months)
- A complete, working knowledge of how an e\-commerce business operates end\-to\-end.
- A complete, working knowledge of how a profitable e\-commerce business operates end\-to\-end.
- Hands\-on experience with best\-in\-class digital tools across analytics, merchandising, and CRM.
- Real ownership of projects that shipped, things you can speak to clearly in any future interview.
- Mentorship from a team with backgrounds across LVMH, Amazon, Farfetch, and Mytheresa.
Skindays is a curated skincare and wellness e\-commerce platform with 60\+ expert\-backed brands and a community of engaged, high\-intent customers. We are building something genuinely differentiated in a crowded market, with a small, tight, excellent team in West London.
