About the Role
We are looking for an organised and detail\-oriented E\-commerce Assistant to support the day\-to\-day operation of our online motorcycle clothing, parts, and accessories store at our head office in Adlington, UK.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the motorcycle industry and be confident working with a wide range of products, including riding gear, helmets, luggage, maintenance items, and motorcycle parts.
You will play a key role in ensuring our online store remains accurate, up to date, and provides an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and maintain product listings across our e\-commerce platforms
- Upload product descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing information
- Manage stock levels and coordinate inventory updates
- Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges
- Respond to customer enquiries via email, phone, and live chat
- Liaise with suppliers regarding product information, availability, and deliveries
- Monitor website content to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Assist with promotions, seasonal campaigns, and new product launches
- Support basic website administration and marketplace management (such as eBay, Amazon, or other platforms)
- Generate reports on sales performance, stock movement, and customer feedback
- Previous experience in an e\-commerce, retail, or administrative role
- Good knowledge of motorcycle clothing, parts, and accessories
- Passion for motorcycling and understanding of rider needs
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident using e\-commerce platforms, stock management systems, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Experience with platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar
- Knowledge of online marketplaces including eBay and Amazon
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital merchandising
- Experience using photo editing or content management software
- Motorcycle licence or active involvement in the motorcycle community
