New Chapter Tuition is seeking an experienced Dyslexia Specialist GCSE English Tutor to support a Year 14 learner with a complex SEND profile in a school setting in Lewisham.
The learner has Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Autism (ASD), ADHD, Dyspraxia, Sensory Processing Disorder, a Language Disorder, Klinefelter Syndrome and Severe Depressive Disorder. We're looking for a specialist tutor who can deliver engaging, personalised GCSE English tuition while building confidence, resilience and independence.
The Role • Deliver 5 hours of face-to-face GCSE English tuition each week during school hours.
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to the learner's individual needs and EHCP outcomes.
- Support literacy development, written communication and GCSE exam preparation.
- Monitor progress and provide concise session reports.
- Experience teaching GCSE English.
- Strong experience supporting learners with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia and Autism.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
