Dynamic and Engaging Driver Guide
Job Description
We are recruiting experienced and customer\-focused PCV Driver\-Guides (PVC D or D1\) to join our teams in Edinburgh, Glasgow or Inverness!
About Us
Established over 25 years ago, Timberbush Tours is an Edinburgh\-based, family\-owned business. Operating out of Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Inverness, our 5\-star, award\-winning tours depart daily, offering a variety of 1, 2, and 3\-day excursions across Scotland and Northern England. We also have a growing Private and Corporate Hire Department, catering to bespoke travel needs.
About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering our exceptional tours to both domestic and international travelers. As Driver Guide, you will operate one of our vehicles, which range from 10\- to 53\-seater coaches, providing safe and comfortable transportation while showcasing the very best of what Scotland has to offer.
Requirements
For Driver Guides, a full UK driving licence with category D entitlement and a valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) are essential for this role, as it involves driving a Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV).
Opportunities
However, we also recognise the potential in candidates who are passionate about guiding but do not yet have their PCV license. For the right candidate, Timberbush Tours offers assistance through our training program to help you achieve your PCV license. This is an excellent development opportunity for both existing and new Tour Guides who aspire to advance their careers and take on the role of Driver Guide.
