The Role:

We’re looking for a passionate and capable Duty Manager who’s ready to lead dynamic shifts and contribute to the heartbeat of our busy venue. From running a smooth food service, overseeing busy weekend events, to making guests feel welcome and empowered, you’ll be at the centre of it all.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead a Great Shift:

  • Oversee service with confidence, ensuring the team is organised and delegated effectively

  • Be the go\-to point of contact for both staff and customers

  • Delegate effectively and ensure clear communication between front and back of house

  • Support and motivate the team during high\-pressure moments

  • Manage open/close duties, team check\-ins, and admin including daily reports and incident logging

  • Support and guide the team during food service, live music, and busy nights
Be the Face of the Venue:
  • Greet customers warmly and deliver a high standard of customer service throughout

  • Support artist liaison and help create a welcoming atmosphere for performers and guests

  • Upsell and guide customers through our food and drinks offering
Be Multi\-Skilled:
  • Serve food and drinks, make cocktails, pour pints, and make coffees

  • Maintain excellent product knowledge on all food and drink items

  • Confidently support the bar, restaurant and live event operations
Keep Things Running Smoothly:
  • Help manage orders, time sheets and basic admin duties

  • Coach team members during service and help onboard new staff

  • Maintain stock, support daily ordering and keep the bar and restaurant clean and safe

  • Support on\-the\-floor staff training and inductions as needed

  • Report and organise any equipment repairs or replacements
Compliance \& Standards:
  • Maintain cleanliness across all areas including bar, restaurant, and customer spaces

  • Adhere to health \& safety and licensing legislation

  • Complete mandatory training and uphold company policies

  • Keep wastage under control and manage responsible service of alcohol

  • You're a great communicator and confident team leader

  • You have preferred 1 year of experience supervising in hospitality

  • You’re calm under pressure and keep a positive attitude
