The Role
We are currently seeking Part‑Time Drivers to join our dedicated team in the Bradford area, playing a vital role in ensuring patients receive safe, timely and compassionate care.
DBS level required: Enhanced
What the Role Offers
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two shifts are the same. You will work as a key member of the urgent care team, building strong working relationships with clinicians and operational colleagues while contributing directly to high‑quality patient care in the community.
You will be trusted with significant responsibility, supporting Duty Clinicians during home visits and helping to ensure they can focus on delivering the best possible care to patients.
Pay Rates
Rates vary depending on the time of day worked:
- In‑Hours: £13\.21 per hour
- Out of Hours: £14\.21 per hour

*Please note: our rota operates on a* *4‑week rolling basis**.*
Main Duties and Responsibilities
As a Driver, you will work closely with the Duty Clinician, transporting them safely to patients’ homes and other locations across West Yorkshire as directed by the Duty Controller.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting clinicians during home visits by managing medical equipment and medications
- Assisting with administrative tasks to enable effective and efficient patient care
- Providing patient transport services when required
- Supporting operational colleagues during periods of unplanned staff absence
- Playing an active role as part of a wider multidisciplinary team committed to patient safety and wellbeing
About You
We are looking for reliable, team‑focused individuals who take pride in their work and understand the importance of their role in patient care.
You will need:
- A full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points
- Extensive experience driving in cities and on motorways, both day and night
- Strong planning, organisation and communication skills
- A customer‑focused approach and the ability to work collaboratively with clinicians and colleagues
