Driver / warehouse counter assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver / Warehouse Counter Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to clients.


• Assist customers on the counter by providing a knowledgeable and friendly service.


• Load and unload goods, demonstrating physical strength and proper handling techniques for heavy items.


• Maintain accurate records of deliveries.


• Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed correctly and submitted promptly.


• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to the relevant people.


• Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all tasks.


• Assist with warehouse organisation, including stock replenishment and inventory checks.

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles is highly desirable.


• Proven warehouse experience, including handling heavy lifting and stock management.


• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.


• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.


• Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently.


• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to driving and warehouse operations is preferred.
