Experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon
We are looking for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, community\-focused practice at Alsager Veterinary Centre, on the Cheshire/Staffordshire border.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident vet who is comfortable with sole charge and enjoys a varied GP caseload, combining both consulting and surgical responsibilities.
The Role
- Full\-time 37\.5 hours per week
- Rota shared across South Side Veterinary Practices (Alsager \& Winsford)
- Weekend participation as part of a shared rota, which may include work across other sites within the group, including potential support at our partner hospital
- No out\-of\-hours – offering a great work life balance
- Mix of consulting and surgery within a true first\-opinion setting
- Opportunity to take clinical responsibility and work independently when required
About You
We are particularly keen to hear from vets who:
- Have solid experience in small animal first opinion practice
- Are confident working in sole charge
- Enjoy a broad GP caseload, including both medicine and surgery
- Are proactive and keen to contribute to the continued growth of the practice
- Value building strong relationships with clients and the local community
- Have an interest in supporting and mentoring new graduate vets, contributing to their development within a supportive team environment
