Salary: £35,000 \- £55,000 depending on experience

Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 08:15 to 17\.15, Friday 08:15 to 13\.15

The Role

We are looking to recruit a Draughtsperson to join our experienced Design department, working in a fast paced environment where the successful candidate will work as part of the team ensuring our reputation of high quality is upheld.

The successful candidate will report to the Design Manager and will be primarily responsible for preparing design drawings and documentation in accordance with company standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

Key duties include a range of responsibilities which will include, but not be limited to the following;

· Prepare design documentation in accordance with company standards and procedures, including 2D and 3D engineering drawings e.g. Diagram of Connections (P\&ID), package unit arrangements, pressure vessels, detailed site pipework layouts etc

· Liaise with internal and external design teams, suppliers, and Star factory

· Undertake regular visits to our production facilities to carry out surveys, verify dimensions, gather design information and liaise with production staff

· Compile and collate parts lists, and material take\-offs

· Ensure best practice in design solutions

· Timely production of error free design documentation

The Candidate

The role is suited to an individual who enjoys working in a fast\-paced environment with good problem solving skills.

Key skills and experience:

· Qualifications – HNC or above in a relevant engineering discipline

· Experience – at least 4 years’ experience of using AutoDESK Inventor

Desirable skills and experience:

· Inventor Tube \& Pipe

· Experience working with Revit
