Job Description:
Drainage Engineer / Drainage Technician – Guildford, Surrey

Salary: £36,000 \- £47,000 \+ commission available

A Guildford\-based company is looking for a self\-motivated, accountable, professional, and skilled Drainage Engineer to join our growing team, servicing clients across London and the South of the UK.

ONLY CANDIDATES WITH THE FOLLOWING WILL BE CONSIDERED:* Proven experience in drainage works (essential)

• Full clean driving licence


• Right to work in the UK

Key Tasks \& Responsibilities:* Carry out CCTV drain surveys and provide clear reports.

• Diagnose issues across foul water and fresh water systems.

Undertake repairs including:* No\-dig solutions (resin lining/patching)

• Excavation and dig\-down repairs


• Install inspection chambers and route new pipework.


• Identify issues and recommend solutions to customers.


• Upsell additional works where appropriate.


• Complete detailed job reports and survey documentation.


• Liaise with the office daily, updating on progress.


• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment to a high standard.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:* Strong drainage experience, including CCTV surveys

• Knowledge of no\-dig repair techniques (resin lining, etc.)


• Experience with excavation and pipe installation


• A proactive, can\-do attitude


• Confidence speaking with customers and identifying sales opportunities


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Good written English and reporting skills


• Strong problem\-solving ability
