About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Drainage Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of drainage maintenance, repair, inspection and installation works across the commercial sector

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who takes pride in delivering high\-quality workmanship, providing excellent customer service and working safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out drainage repairs, maintenance and installations.

  • Investigate and diagnose drainage faults, blockages and defects.

  • Undertake CCTV drainage surveys and inspections where required.

  • Use drain jetting, mechanical and other appropriate equipment.

  • Carry out excavation and repair works when required.

  • Identify defects and recommend suitable remedial solutions.

  • Complete job sheets, reports and other required documentation.

  • Communicate professionally with customers, clients and colleagues.

  • Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles to a high standard.

  • Follow all company health \& safety procedures and industry regulations.

  • Work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working as a Drainage Engineer or in a similar role.

  • Good knowledge of drainage systems, repairs and maintenance.

  • Experience using drain jetting and/or mechanical equipment.

  • A practical approach to fault finding and problem solving.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • A commitment to health and safety.

  • The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.

  • A full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
  • CCTV drainage survey experience.

  • Experience with excavation and underground drainage repairs.

  • Relevant drainage, plumbing, civil engineering or construction qualifications.

  • CSCS, NRSWA or other relevant industry certifications.
